Leave a comment! Scroll to the bottom of this page for details on how to do that.

Following this public scoping effort, a summary of all comments received will be reported to the project leadership at Monroe, Vernon and La Crosse counties to select a preferred alternative.

Once a preferred alternative is selected, the engineering and economics teams will dive in to more detailed analysis. Additionally, the environmental impact statement (EIS) portion of the Watershed Plan can also commence.

The draft Plan-EIS will then be published for a 45-day public review. This will be another chance for the public to comment on the document. Those comments will be summarized and delivered to county project leadership at which point the consultant team will work with the leadership group to address every comment. Comments will be addressed within the document or within a comment matrix that will become an appendix to the final Plan-EIS.
